Episode 120 - Slapping Yourself

This week Cameron is out (supposedly playing Magic) and Curtis is joined by Nate to put together the cast. They talk about their misadventures on MTGO, the newest spoilers, and the oddly compelling mono-black Eldrazi deck. The cast is capped off by a bit of movie discussion, and Nate reveals that he was unable to complete Mad Max:Fury Road. Thank you for your honor.

Episode 118 - I'm in the Fetal Position

After an incredible journey to a Galaxy Far, Far Away, our heroes find themselves unable to talk about anything other than a movie. Other than Star Wars, we talk Star Wars, then some more Star Wars. Also, we talk about the fallout that happened after tons of cards were spoiled last week, and we get on our Andy Rooney soapboxes as far as how Wizards handled the situation. Apparently a movie called Star Wars was released this week as well. Thank you for your honor.

Episode 117- We Come to You From the Future

What an incredibly packed week. So packed, we ended up going back in time to talk spoilers. Only one thing will rouse us from such times:

"Good morning. In less than an hour, aircraft from here will join others from around the world. And you will be launching the largest aerial battle in the history of mankind. "Mankind." That word should have new meaning for all of us today. We can’t be consumed by our petty differences anymore. We will be united in our common interests. Perhaps it’s fate that today is the Fourth of July, and you will once again be fighting for our freedom… Not from tyranny, oppression, or persecution… but from annihilation. We are fighting for our right to live. To exist. And should we win the day, the Fourth of July will no longer be known as an American holiday, but as the day the world declared in one voice: We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight!  We’re going to live on! We’re going to survive! Today we celebrate our Independence Day!"

Thank you for your honor.

Episode 116- Time-Shifted Pop Stars

Another interesting week leads us to some interesting conversations about the Modern banned list. Could Stoneforge Mystic finally come off of the chopping block? Sword of the Meek? Bloodbraid Elf? We talk a little about Legacy and Standard as well. And Curtis apparently is an expert in Lady Gaga. Thank you for your honor.

Episode 115 - The Darwinian Existence of a Magic Player

This week we talk Legacy. Could Legacy survive if the reserved list were banned? We explore this subject. We also take a look at some Legacy deck lists, and both agree that a certain card from Miracles might need to get the ax for the next round a bannings. Cameron also "teaches" some kids to play against a Bitterblossom deck. Thank you for your honor.
